The Reality of the Question

Nagolpilled Nagolbud

Sometimes life only sends you storms.. and there is nothing worse in this world than hating yourself. The concept of “this” gets contradicted daily by pride and self worship. We all think we understand, until we don’t. Realms turned upside down…. by a few words of a stranger on the internet.

We think we understand, until we don’t. Life slaps us in the face over and over until we figure it out. Whats the point of it all? We’re still trying to figure that out…. pretending to know, the sphere of knowledge seems to dim. Society chanting for you to become what they want you to be, nothing but self doubt as you learn how to swim.

Just a few minutes of perspective can change your route, wondering where it all went wrong. Staring into the mirror, you start to question who you really are. The life of a peasant, interpreting the sky.. we all ponder the same questions, chasing some sort of regurgitated clout. Thinking we’ve got it figured out, until we don’t.

This is the thought process of the modern day philosopher… watching it unfold as the world joins the zombie apocalypse. Another day finished as we question our existence. What was the point of yesterday when tomorrow has no substance.

Entering the Rabbit Hole

Introduction by S. DeGeorges
Sometimes when I’m bored in a social situation or conversation, I’ll say something like “I know a guy who walked all the way from Wisconsin to Central America with his dog”. People’s reactions will usually be something along the lines of “Dude, what the f*ck?” or “how?”. Well, I suppose that sort of disbelief has to do with mental blockages. People don’t believe that they can move freely out of their everyday lives.

They don’t believe that they can do things and survive on their own. They can acquire those skills, but it’s not something that they necessarily think about. Of course, I don’t think there’s anything wrong in being content with your everyday life and routine, but a time comes when you have to look at yourself in the mirror and consider whether you are truly living out your full potential, and whether your life satisfies you. If you find yourself dissatisfied, only you can fix that, but reading some Nagolbud might help.

Collected here in this volume are journal entries written by Nagolbud over the past 10+ years. Some of these texts are humorous, while some are serious, but they all have a common underlying theme: living your life free, being self-dependent, being an individual and being creative.

Some of them can also be classified in the “conspiracy theory” genre, which might turn off a lot of people from reading them, but it shouldn’t. If you allow yourself to go down the rabbit hole, and to let this book fuel your own research, you might be surprised at the truth that can be found.

What does it mean to be free? How do we become free? These are questions which many philosophers have pondered on. Many “answers” have been found, a lot of them very unsatisfying for the earnest truth-seeker. Some thinkers have said that “freedom is living in accordance with truth”. Others have said that “freedom cannot be attained outside of society” while some have gone so far as to say there is no such thing as human freedom.

Nagolbud, basing himself on true life experience rather than idle intellectualism, says “freedom isn’t something that everybody has, or that society can give you. You have to make yourself free by escaping the limits of said society”.

This character of self-determined freedom permutes all that he writes. As he criticizes modern internet trends, tells you about his travelling and city farming life, elaborates on the worldwide Vatican conspiracy… he weaves words in poetic rhymes, preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Happy Reading, and Many Blessings,
S. DeGeorges
